There is something old worldly about stained-glass art. It has a unique charm like a fine piece of jewellery. Libby has taken a hobby and created a unique market business. The stained-glass comes from old buildings such as churches and old halls, each piece is recycled and has a history of its own.

Libby is no stranger to business; up until recently, she was a senior accountant and a board member of Angel Paws. Now, she dedicates her time solely to her national and international clients. With many cruise ships visiting Airlie Beach, her art is in high demand among both locals and international visitors.

There is a uniquely tropical Queensland theme to her art that is both majestic and functional. Libby’s inspiration for each piece is based on her observations of nature and the unique structure of the glass that she can acquire. Some of the glass lends itself to specific shapes or artistic themes. For example, the pearl-textured glass lends itself perfectly to the box jellyfish design, giving it an almost transparent look. Likewise, the clouded glass in the honeycomb patterns highlights the presence of clouded honey, adding to a sense of realism and the overall uniqueness of the artwork itself.

While the artwork is inspirational and unique. Libby has been creating a lot of custom art for international clients, this artwork often specific to the aesthetic of the client, is something Libby is more than happy to do.
